BURN AFTER READING. (cohen bothers)

It is very rare that I come out of a movie in such question, that i myself am not even sure if I liked the movie or hated it. The Cohen Brothers new edition to great achievements comes as a bit of a shock.... The all star cast (Pitt, Clooney, McDormand...etc) are what save any sense of the plot that surrounds the characters . Although all the elements of a slapstick style comedy are there, the way that it is brought towards a laugh, just doesn't quite catch it. The fact that everybody is being followed by everybody in the movie, you'd think would provide enough reason for pants pissing and swore cheeks, however, the jokes are a bit used and the emphasis on them misses by a long shot. The directive style is nice and the over use of gore and violence is completely uncalled for, but stay true to the Cohen style of blood and guts. Once again, this movie is a case of preview-itous..., where if you've seen the preview, you've seen the movie. Definitely did not live up to the hype.
